Censorship

Comments(1) | I believe censoring books in schools today is wrong. Of course I do not believe having adult magazines in schools, but students should be able to read what they want. I do not believe reading certain books will not have a negative influence on children. We should be happy as teachers and parents that the students are interested in reading. I do not see any issue with a child reading Harry Potter, there are so many people out there who just need to loosen up and allow these children to read what they want to read.
I agree with you. I think taking away books like these just take a child’s imagination away. If the parents tell their children not to read these books why can’t that be good enough instead of ruining it for other kids who parents don’t mine. Parents may not want their kids to have access to books like these in school but their kids may have access through friends. So is it really effective?
